I made these lemon cupcakes last week, before Easter. It felt like the perfect time for a lemon dessert... These are lemon cupcakes, filled with a rich lemon curd, and topped with cream cheese frosting. Hello delicious! I would say you definitely have to be a lemon lover for these cupcakes, but the cake alone is perfect for anybody (even my husband who isn't a huge fan of lemon). The cake is a vanilla cake with a hint of lemon, but the lemon curd pushes it over the delicious lemon edge. Amazing!

Princess Birthday Party
This week I made cupcakes for a two year old's birthday party. Her sweet older sister insisted that she have a princess party, (Love love LOVE little girls!) so that is what she had. I made a batch of spice cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes, and topped both with cream cheese frosting. So delicious!
To top that off, I made the girliest princess cupcake toppers possible. :) The family loved the cupcakes and the sweet 2 year old looked like she had a great birthday party. What more could you ask for?

A Pokemon 9th Birthday!
A cute little 9 year old celebrated his birthday Pokemon style, and I got to make his cake! He had a very specific image in mind for his cake, and even how his figurines were arranged on the top of the cake... You have to love a boy who knows what he wants! ;)
So I made the cake as best to his specifications as I could and thankfully, he loved it. I made a triple chocolate chip 8 inch round cake, fondant covered with fondant decorations, and a dozen vanilla cupcakes. The cupcakes were Pokeballs (I don't actually know what they are, but they are obviously a very big part of Pokemon. lol). The cake was Pokemon themed and had his favorite figurines on top of the cake.

Delicious Mounds/Almond Joy Cupcakes
These cupcakes are definitely at the top of my favorite list! These cupcakes are modeled after an Almond Joy bar, but without the almonds so they are a cross between an Almond Joy and a Mounds bar. They are amazingly delicious.
I made chocolate cupcakes, filled them with a coconut cream filling and dipped them, not once but TWICE, in chocolate ganache. My mouth is watering just thinking about them... And the pictures don't even do them justice. :)

Carnival 1st Birthday Party
I was blessed to do birthday cupcakes for the daughter of my best friend. It was her first birthday and she was having a Carnival theme. I was asked to do Popcorn, Soft Serve Swirl, and Cotton Candy Cupcakes. They were so fun to make!
Here are some pictures!

Phineas and Ferb
This past week I had a special request from Idaho for some cupcake toppers. My friend's son was turning 2 and he LOVES Phineas and Ferb, so of course I had to do it. I did a couple dozen fondant toppers of his favorite character Perry the Platypus, and sent them on their way to get there for his birthday party.
My sister, and favorite business partner, made the cupcakes for them to go on. She did chocolate cupcakes with a caramel filling and peanut butter frosting... Amazing! I think these turned out perfect for his party. Thanks for the help on the other end Michelle!
